The club was saddened to hear of the recent death of Colin "Reg" George at the age of 71. Reg made his debut for the "Old Boys" in the 64/65 season and soon made an impression scoring a try against British Nylon Spinners A versatile three quarter, he received the club's most promising player award at the end of the 66/67 season whilst he was elected captain for 68/69 season when his hard work saw an influx of players join the club, which eventually led to the success that the team enjoyed during the early 1970s. He went on to be a stalwart of the rugby and social club for many years combining his playing career with that as a member of the club's committee, serving as secretary and chairman at various times. Following his retirement from the game, Reg continued his support of the club and frequently attended the club's reunions and Vice President days as well as the Christmas Golf events. Our deepest sympathy to his family, friends and rugby team mates Note As a mark of respect, a minutes applause will be held prior to the home game against Trefil on Saturday 22 September
